Chhaava Movie Review
Directed by Laxman Utekar, the movie features Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, while Rashmika Mandanna plays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s wife Yesubai. According to the Sacnilk report, after making the 2025 biggest opening so far with Rs 31 crore on Friday, the movie made a business of Rs.37 crore on Saturday, which was a straight 19.35 percent jump. Then on Sunday, as per the rough data, the movie saw another rise of more than 30 percent. It collected Rs. 48.5 crores on day 3, taking the total collection to Rs. 116.5 crores after three days of theatrical release. These are still rough numbers; thus, it seems the movie’s business might surprise further.

‘Chhaava’

Based on the book of the same title, Chhaava is the story of one of India’s greatest warriors, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. It doesn’t tell their whole life story in detail but captures the key moments and shows especially the parts where he stood as the true soldier for ‘swaraj.’
In addition to Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, the movie features Akshaye Khanna. He plays the main antagonist in the historical drama, the Mughal monarch Aurangzeb. Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Diana Penty, and Vineet Kumar Singh are also seen in pivotal roles.
