'Chhaava' box office collection day 17: The Vicky Kaushal starrer packs in a solid third weekend as it crosses Rs 450 crore

Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Chhaava‘ which released on February 14, has left everyone surprised as the film has managed to have a solid box office run. It’s getting a lot of love from fans which is also visible in the box office numbers. The film even had a solid third weekend as it managed to cross Rs 40 crore on 3rd Saturday and Sunday.
The movie already crossed Rs 400 crore on Friday, which was its day 15, after it made Rs 180 crore in just the second week. On its third Saturday, the movie made Rs 22 crore and on Sunday, which is day 17, it made Rs 25 crore. Thus, the total collection of the third weekend stands at Rs 47 crore which is huge. So far, the total collection in India is Rs 459.50 crore net, according to Sacnilk.
If the film manages to hold decently well now over the weekdays, it will end up crossing Rs 500 crore in India by Wednesday. At the moment, ‘Chhaava’ is not facing any competition from any other movie at the box office. ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ had released but it had a very dull response.
Meanwhile, the word of mouth has also helped ‘Chhaava’ largely in continuing its historic run at the box office.
