‘Chhaava’ box office collection day 10: Vicky Kaushal starrer closes the second weekend with a whopping Rs.326.75 crore

Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhaava’ had a stellar weekend at the box office. The historical drama that chronicles the important life moments of the Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj has reached a new height on its second weekend. After completing a 10-day run at the box office, the movie minted ₹326.75 crore, according to a Sacnilk report.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, the movie made ₹44 crore on its second Saturday and ₹40 crore (early estimates) on its second Sunday, bringing its total collection to ₹326.75 crore net in India.
Even the first-weekend collection of the movie was impressive – it minted ₹37 crores and ₹48.5 crores on the first Saturday and Sunday. From the very start, the film made sure to leave a mark, and appears it has no intention of slowing down.

With an Rs. 31 crore opening, ‘Chhaava’ became Vicky Kushal and 2025’s biggest opener so far! Now with the current state, ‘Chhaava’ has become Vicky Kaushal’s first Rs.300 crore movie.
Further, the movie has been getting raging reviews at the box office. Recently, it earned a shoutout from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi, PM Modi said, “Ye Maharashtra aur Mumbai hi hai jisne Marathi filmo ke saath saath, Hindi cinema ko ye unchai di hai. Aur in dino toh, Chhaava ki dhoom machi hui hai. (Maharashtra and Mumbai have elevated Hindi cinema and Marathi films. And these days, Chhaava is making waves).”
