Jointly Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion was released on June 14, 2024.
Kartik Aaryan is currently enjoying the success of his recently released film, Chandu Champion which has been performing decently at the box office. It has now been reported that on June 25 i.e. on its second Tuesday, the Kabir Khan directorial earned Rs 2.15 crore. With this, the film has crossed the Rs 62 crore mark at the Indian box office.
For the unversed, Chandu Champion was released on June 14 and collected 5.40 crore on its opening day. It then witnessed a 45% growth on its second day and earned Rs 7.70 crore. The film saw a remarkable 100% growth on day three, collecting 11.01 crore. The strong word of mouth, love and raving positive reviews further significantly boosted the film’s performance, resulting in a solid collection of 6.01 crore on day 4. It then earned Rs 3.6 crore and Rs 3.40 crore on days five and six respectively.
Chandu Champion maintained its box office earnings even after and earned Rs 3.01 crore, Rs 3.32 crore, Rs 6.30 crore, Rs 8.01 crore on days seven, eight, nine and ten respectively. It then earned Rs 2.1 crore on its second Monday.
Jointly Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion was released on June 14, 2024. Directed by Kabir Khan, it is poised to leave an indelible mark on the hearts of audiences worldwide.
Chandu Champion is being widely loved by all and several celebrities have praised Kartik’s performance in the film. Recently, Karan Johar also took to his Instagram stories to laud the film when he also called it Kartik’s “career-best performance”. “Kabir Khan directs this brave and inspiring life tale like a love letter to the human spirit,” wrote Karan while sharing the film’s poster. “Kartik Aaryan gives his career-best performance with a humane and honest portrayal…A must watch,” the filmmaker added.
Prior to this, Javed Akhtar also called Kartik’s performance in the film a “delightful surprise”. “Watched Chandu Champion. Who would have believed it if it not would have been a 100% true story particularly enjoyed the 2nd half. Another feather in Kabir Khan’s cap . Kartik is a delightful surprise in a dramatic role. Vijay Raaz is brilliant. Cinematographer Sudeep Chatterji’s work is mind blowing. My hats off to the editor,” he wrote.
