Celebrating women’s day: Driving inclusivity in the workforce

International Women’s Day highlights the progress made toward gender equality while emphasizing the need for greater inclusivity in the workforce. Women continue to break barriers and contribute significantly across industries, but true inclusivity goes beyond representation—it requires equal opportunities, fair policies, and a culture that values diverse perspectives.
Organizations are increasingly recognizing that gender diversity drives innovation and improves business performance. Companies with diverse leadership often see better decision-making and financial success. However, achieving true equality requires continued efforts in mentorship, flexible work policies, and leadership opportunities for women.
Reema H Kundnani, senior vice president – marketing & key account management at Brookfield Properties, stressed the importance of meaningful change. “Great workplaces are built on diverse voices and strong cultures. When women are empowered, organizations thrive.” She added, “True inclusivity means breaking barriers and ensuring women have the opportunities they need to succeed.”
International Women’s Day is not just a celebration but a call to action. It serves as a reminder that fostering an inclusive workplace is essential for long-term success, ensuring that every woman has the support and opportunities to contribute, lead, and excel.
