Bobby Deol recalls knocking on doors during his struggling days: 'Please give me work'

Bobby Deol recently shared his experiences of facing tough times in his career. In a recent interview, he revealed how he personally reached out to people for work during a challenging phase. Deol admitted to ‘knocking on doors’ and introducing himself to others, asking for opportunities without feeling ashamed. He believed it was necessary to find work when things weren’t going well.
Deol’s career in the film industry has been marked by significant highs and lows. During a challenging phase, he stepped out of his comfort zone and actively sought work by reaching out to filmmakers. In an interview with India Today, he shared how he would introduce himself, saying, “I am Bobby Deol. Please give me work.” He emphasized that there’s no shame in asking for opportunities, as it’s a common part of an actor’s journey. By doing so, he ensured that people remembered him, which sometimes led to new opportunities.
The actor noted that the film industry has changed significantly since he started his career. Initially, roles were offered to him, but as more actors joined the industry, he found himself having to actively seek out opportunities. He accepts this increased competition as a reality of the evolving industry.
Bobby Deol’s career has seen a big comeback in recent years. His role in the 2023 film ‘Animal‘ was a major highlight, showcasing his versatility as an actor.
