Bloodhounds actress Kim Sae-Ron found dead at her residence at 24: Report

South Korean actress Kim Sae-Ron has reportedly passed away at the age of 24. On February 16, Korean media reported that the young star was found deceased at her residence in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. Kim, known for her role in Netflix’s Bloodhounds, had largely stayed out of the limelight in recent years.
According to The Korea Herald, a close friend discovered Kim’s body at her home and immediately alerted authorities at approximately 4:50–5:00 PM on Sunday ( February 16). Police have ruled out any signs of forced entry or foul play and are currently investigating the cause of death.
As per Chosun Biz, a police officer stated that no evidence of external intrusion or other criminal suspicions has been confirmed yet. They are currently investigating the reason behind her untimely demise.
Kim had previously made headlines due to a DUI incident in May 2022, which significantly impacted her career. She was apprehended for driving under the influence after crashing into an electrical transformer, causing a neighbourhood power outage. Her blood alcohol level was recorded at 0.2 per cent, and authorities revoked her driving licence.
Following her arrest, Kim issued an apology both through her agency and in a handwritten letter. She also compensated those affected by the incident. Reports later emerged that she had taken up part-time work at a café to cover the damages. Her agency later addressed the matter and confirmed that she was working part-time to support her livelihood.
