Black Myth Wukong has a wide scope of unique builds because of all the different types of abilities and equipment it offers. Apart from weapons, spells, and armor, you get two slots of Curios. However, there is a way to get a third Curio slot in Black Myth Wukong, and that’s exactly what we will explore in this guide.
Curios are items providing passive buffs to your character. They can be found throughout the game in various locations, including chests, dropped by enemies, or obtained as rewards for completing quests.
How to Get Third Curio Slot in Black Myth Wukong
In a nutshell, you can equip more Curios with the help of Yin Tiger, the Blacksmith in Zodiac Village. If you haven’t come across him yet, here’s how to get to this location.
Beat Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw
Go to Chapter 2’s Village Entrance location (Sandgate Village). You need to defeat Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw boss here and then give the Evil Repelling Medicament formula that drops to Xu Dog nearby.
Beat Chen Loong
After this, go to Chapter 3’s North Shore of the Bitter Lake location (Bitter Lake), defeat Chen Loong and then interact with him. He will ask for a resurrection pill from Xu Dog.
Get the Medicine
Head to Chapter 2’s Windseal Gate in Yellow Wind Formation and talk to Xu Dog to collect the pill from him. You need to deliver the Fortifying Medicament to Chen Loong at his previous location.
Get the Ruyi Scroll
Talking to Chen Loong will help you obtain the Ruyi Scroll and take you to the secret area of Zodiac Village. Activate the Shrine when you spawn there – this will be the Village Entrance shrine.

Defeat Yin Tiger
Explore the area and look for a blacksmith. This is Yin Tiger who will also help you with upgrading armor. Upon interacting with him, you’ll see that you can also ‘Challenge’ him which is what you need to do.
After you beat him, he will give you his weapon because it’s ‘unfit for his skill’ and this will also give you Ebon Flow.
Talk to Yin Tiger
Talk to the blacksmith and select the option to Equip More Curios. Now you are ready to select any of the Curios you have obtained and make The Destined One even more powerful. You can choose to increase the Will gained from defeating enemies, boost defense, increase your damage, etc.
