BJP’s Manifesto For Haryana Polls Promises Rs 2,100 Per Month To Women, Govt Jobs For Agniveers – News18

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday released its manifesto for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, promising Rs 2,100 per month to women under the Lado Laxmi Scheme and setting up 10 industrial cities on the line of Industrial Model Township Kharkhoda.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and state BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli were also present at the event.

Haryana will go to polls on October 5 and the votes will be counted on October 8.

WHAT BJP’s MANIFESTO PROMISES

Major promises by the BJP include –

1. Rs 2,100 per month for women under Lado Laxmi Yojna
2. 2 lakh government jobs for the youth
3. Guaranteed government job for every Agniveer hailing from Haryana
4. Other employment and stipend opportunities for 5 lakh youth of the state
5. Cooking gas cylinder at Rs 500 under Har Ghar Grihini Yojna
6. 10 industrial cities on the line of Industrial Model Township Kharkhoda
7. Scholarship for Haryana students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and the Other Backward Communities (OBCs) in any government medical or engineering college in the country
8. Purchase of 24 crops at Minimum Support Price (MSP)
9. Five lakh houses in urban and rural areas
10. Free medical facilities up to Rs 10 lakh to families under the Chirayu Haryana Scheme
11. Free dialysis facilities across all government hospitals and free diagnosis facilities at all hospitals in the state
12. Nurseries for Olympic games in all districts
13. Two-wheeler for every college-going female student
14. Construction of railway corridors and introduction of new Vande Bharat trains
15. Kalyan board for 36 backward castes
16. Increase in monthly pensions
17. Guarantee for up to Rs 25 lakh for entrepreneurs belonging to OBC
18. International-level Aravalli Jungle Safari Park in southern Haryana

JP NADDA SLAMS CONGRESS

Addressing the event, BJP chief JP Nadda slammed the Congress party and alleged it never fulfilled the promises it made through its manifestos.

“I am fortunate that I am here on the religious and pious land which also belongs to the saints, freedom fighters, social workers, and sportspersons. How do we understand the manifesto? Congress had made a trend wherein they made the manifesto a diluted document in the eyes of people, it lost its relevance. For them, the manifesto is just a formality and a tool to cheat,” Nadda said.

“What was the image of Haryana 10 years back? Jobs used to be given on paper. Actions were taken against people. Haryana used to be known for land scams, so while discussing their manifesto, then we should look into these facts. Hence, when we talk manifesto, I want to say that we are doing non-stop work,” the BJP chief said.

“The seriousness of the manifesto is known from the number of promises, made in the manifesto, being implemented, and what we did above that. Here the per capita income has doubled, and exports tripled,” he added.
