BJP MP Shashank Mani from Deoria Lok Sabha constituency launched the Amrit Prayas project on Saturday.
“The strategy was developed over four months with inputs from over 2,000 stakeholders, including local leaders, business owners, and government bodies such as the Union ministry of statistics and NITI Aayog,” Mani said. “The plan will be implemented by the Deoria Development Alliance (Viksit Deoria Manch), a collective of individuals, institutions, and companies involved in the project’s development,” he added.
Mani also said the project’s goal is to add Rs 10,000 crore to Deoria’s GDP over the next decade. The launch was held in Barpar village during a two-day workshop and included the presence of former Union minister Kalraj Mishra and Rajya Sabha MP K Laxman.
