BEML unveils indigenously developed motor grader BG 1205

India’s leading manufacturers of mining and construction equipment, BEML Ltd has launched the indigenously designed Motor Grader BG 1205 at its Mysuru facility.
This milestone emphasizes BEML’s strong commitment to self-reliance and aligns with the Government of India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
The BG 1205, equipped with a 24-foot blade, has been meticulously designed to cater to the growing demands of the mining industry, news agency PTI reported.
It is specifically built for high-intensity operations in regions like SECL Bilaspur and Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) in Singrauli, aimed at efficiently supporting high-capacity dumpers and facilitating road-laying operations.
With a focus on superior performance and operational efficiency, the BG 1205 is expected to significantly boost productivity and sustainability in mining operations, BEML said in a statement.
Shantanu Roy, Chairman and Managing Director of BEML Ltd, expressed pride in the launch, stating, “This is a proud moment for us, reflecting our dedication to technological innovation and empowering our partners in the mining industry. Our continuous research and development efforts are focused on building modern equipment that meets the evolving needs of the sector.”
