Veteran actress Ayesha Jhulka hit the top trends on social media after she revealed how her co-star Salman Khan turned into a real-life hero on the sets of the 1991 film ‘Kurbaan’.
Speaking to Farah Khan on a reality show, Ayesha confirmed the long-standing rumour and also shared details about that harrowing day on the sets that could have cost her, her life. Sharing the harrowing experience from the song shoot, Ayesha said, “We were shooting a dance sequence on a railway track, and Salman was on the track to my right, filming his part.Music was playing, and we were told that the train had been halted and would not move until our set was completed.”
However, as the actress recalled, things took a dangerous turn when the train started moving amidst the commotion of the shoot. On hearing the oncoming train, Salman swooped in and, “He just pulled me away with such force that I felt like I would fly off. Just a few minutes later, the train passed,” Ayesha recounted.
Previously, during a 2022 appearance on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Ayesha also revealed that Salman was initially reluctant to dance with her when they worked together on the film. She also addressed the link-up rumours with her hunky co-stars in a resurfaced clip and said, “There have been controversies regarding my affairs. I am doing two films—Kurbaan and Meet Mere Man Ke. In Kurbaan, I am working with Salman Khan, and in Meet Mere Man Ke, I have teamed up with Prosenjit. And I have been linked with both actors! Now, you tell me, if I link up with every actor, what should I do?”

On the work front, Salman will star in the upcoming film ‘Sikandar’ which is slated for an Eid release.
