'As high as kite': Kamala Harris' latest appearance slammed as she talks about Doritos
Kamala Harris spoke about Doritos as she was talking about innovation and social media users though she was drunk.

Amid speculations over Kamala Harris’ next political plunge, the former vice president was again trolled for her recent appearance at the HumanX AI Conference as she talked about innovation but then linked her speech with an anecdote about Doritos which social media users found unimpressive.
Kamala Harris did not attend the Oscars this year but was seen watching the event at her home with her husband Doug Emhoff as they shared a packet of Doritos. As Kamala Harris was talking about AI and innovation, she made a surprising turn to Doritos as she talked about consumers’ right to expect innovators to solve their everyday problems like she ordered her Doritos through DoorDash.
“Kamala just tried to explain innovation and it is the dumbest thing I have ever heard,” one handle posted. “Kamala is still trying to make the fact that she eats Doritos a “thing”,” another wrote while many called her drunk — an old allegation against her. Some users also wondered why she did not have any staff to bring a packet of Doritos for her.
Kamala Harris’ appearance came as she is seen as a heavyweight contender for the California Governor race, though she has still kept all her options open and did not specify what she would do next. At a pre-Oscars party, Harris was asked about making a decision to join the governor race. According to reports, she said she would decide by the end of the summer.
Harris’ aides still feel the governor’s job would be a level down from the historic role she played as the first women vice president and that she should prepare and wait for the 2028 presidential race. If she contends and wins the governor election, she would be the first Black governor of California.
Since losing the election, Harris told all her aides to keep every possible path open as she announced that she’s staying in the fight. She has set up a new organization Pioneer49 and roped in most of her trusted aides including chief of staff Sheila Nix and senior advisers Kirsten Allen and Ike Irby. Longtime advisers Brian Nelson and Minyon Moore as well as her White House chief of staff Lorraine Voles all remain key parts of her informal kitchen cabinet. Other top aides in California are waiting for the signal from Harris to engage, Politico reported.
