Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is celebrating his 60th birthday today. Born as Mohammed Aamir Hussain Khan, Aamir Khan is known for his movies which have addressed social issues and have garnered national attention. He is the recipient of nine Filmfare Awards, four National Film Awards, among many. He also received the Padma Shri in 2003 and the Padma Bhushan in 2010. He has also received an honorary title from the Government of China.
During a pre-birthday media event in Mumbai, the actor introduced his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt. The couple’s relationship has garnered significant attention, especially given their long-standing acquaintance and recent reconnection.
Gauri Spratt hails from Bengaluru and is the daughter of Rita Spratt, who owned one of the city’s pioneering salons, Spratt Salon, which has since been integrated into the BBlunt chain. Gauri pursued her education at Blue Mountain School and furthered her studies in fashion, completing a course in Styling & Photography at the University of the Arts, London, in 2004. She currently manages a BBlunt salon in Mumbai and has recently begun collaborating with Aamir Khan Productions.
She and Aamir Khan have known each other for over 25 years, having reconnected approximately 18 months ago, which marked the beginning of their romantic relationship. Aamir has introduced Gauri to his family, who have warmly embraced their relationship. The couple currently resides together, and Gauri is adapting to the Bollywood milieu.

Aamir and Reena also have a daughter, Ira Khan, who has pursued a career in mental health advocacy and theater direction. Ira is known for openly discussing mental health issues and has directed a stage play. In 2023, she married fitness coach Nupur Shikhare.
From his second marriage with filmmaker Kiran Rao, Aamir has a younger son, Azad Rao Khan, who was born through surrogacy in 2011. Azad is often seen in family pictures and is growing up away from media scrutiny.
