Aruna Irani returns injured to Mumbai from Bangkok; sings through pain in her wheelchair

Veteran actress Aruna Irani was recently snapped at the Mumbai airport. Praised for her work and charm, the actress was seen in a not-so-good condition. Reportedly, she was injured and was spotted in a wheelchair.
Dressed in a white suit, Aruna Irani was seen wearing a mask, with a bandage on her hand and crutches by her side. According to Vicky Lalwani, the actress had a fall in Bangkok about two weeks ago. She got the treatment but was confined to a wheelchair and crutches.
She took some break and rested well, before returning to India. However, the actress is in a lot of pain. She is gradually recovering under the guidance of expert medics in Mumbai.
The veteran star has yet to comment on her health condition.
Further, in a video circulating on social media, Arun Iran was seen singing through her pain. She sang ‘Haal Kaisa Hai Janaab Ka’ from the film ‘Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi.’
Aruna Irani – Bollywood’s beloved star
Aruna Irani has appeared in more than 500 films spanning Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, and Gujarati cinema, primarily in supporting and character roles. She had a strong passion for education and dreamed of becoming a doctor. However, due to financial limitations, her family was not able to fund the education of all their children, and she had to discontinue her schooling after the sixth grade.
She began her career as a child actress in the film ‘Gunga Jumna’ in 1961, where she played the childhood version of Azra. She then featured in ‘Anpadh,’ playing the younger version of Mala Sinha.
Among her well-known films as a supporting actress are ‘Farz,’ ‘Bobby,’ ‘Fakira,’ ‘Sargam,’ and more. Eventually, she expanded her career into directing and producing, supporting television series like ‘Mehndi Tere Naam Ki,’ ‘Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand,’ ‘Rabba Ishq Na Hove,’ ‘Vaidehi,’ and more.
