Ocasio-Cortez emerges as the most assertive leader right now, Democrats not happy
Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders have hit the streets against the Donald Trump administration.

Democrats are not happy about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) emerging as the most assertive party leader at a time of a leadership vacuum — as AOC has hit the road with Bernie Sanders for ‘Fighting Oligarchy’. Sanders and AOC held their first joint rally Thursday attacking Elon Musk and the Republican members of Congress.
Democrats are not happy about the situation of the party right now after President Donald Trump won the election. Former VP Kamala Harris is yet to announce her future political plans while Joe Biden and Jill Biden are intent on getting back to politics though the present leadership are not sure whether that would help the party any way.
AOC, meanwhile, leads a list of Democratic names as the leader who Democrats and Democratic-leaning Independents think “best reflects the core values of the Democratic Party”. About 10 per cent named AOC, while nine per cent voted for Kamala Harris, eight per cent were for Bernie Sanders and six for Hakim Jeffries.

What has AOC done? Democrats not happy seeing AOC leading poll

Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa) took a swipe at AOC reacting to AOC’s recent speech in which she said, “We need a Democratic Party that fights harder for us too.”
“Fight ‘harder’—a stunt that would have harmed millions and plunged us into chaos,” Fetterman wrote when sharing a screenshot featuring a quotation of Ocasio-Cortez’s comment. “We kept our government open. Deal with it.”
Fetterman and Chuck Schumer voted last week clearing the way for the chamber to vote on a government funding measure to avoid a partial government shutdown. AOC has been the strongest critic of the decision.
Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin (D) said that AOC and Bernie Sanders are only making a lot of noise about Trump but they did not accomplish anything. “I can’t do what she does, because we live in a purple state and I’m a pragmatist. Everyone you mentioned has a lot of words, but what have they actually done to change the situation with Donald Trump?” she asked at the meeting,
