Anupamaa: Chandni Bhagwanani aka Pakhi quits the show; refuses to play mom to 22 year old

Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa is the top TV show and it is going on a new journey now. Yes, the show will take a 10-15 year leap and the shoot for it has started. The show will have new actors in the new story. The promo has released where we see Anupamaa with her grand children and is running ‘Anu Ki Rasoi’. She has a business partner who is extremely supportive of her. Anu is away from Aadhya and we see Aadhya as a tourist guide. In the new story, we will see Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Shivam Khajuria and Alisha Parveen as the leads. As the show took leap, we saw Nishi Saxena, Kunwar Amarjeet Singh, Gaurav Sharma quit the show. Now, Chandni Bhagwanani has also quit the show. Chandni Bhagwanani quits Anupamaa

She was seen as Pakhi in the show. She had replaced Muskan Bamne in the show. Chandni told Times Now that it is time for her to move as Anupamaa is taking a leap and she does not want to play a mother to a 22-year-old. She also added that even the makers did not force her to continue as they understood that she does not look like a mother. Earlier, Nidhi Shah aka Kinjal also bid adieu to the show. She played Kinjal since the start and penned down an emotional note as she bid adieu to Kinjal. She shared a journey video of Kinjal and wrote, “With a Heavy Heart, I Say Goodbye to Kinju baby aka Kinjal. After four and a half unforgettable years, it’s time for me to bid farewell to my beloved character, Kinjal, and the phenomenal show, Anupamaa. This journey has been beyond anything I could have ever imagined. To be a part of a show that’s been number one on Indian television, consecutively, is a blessing I’ll cherish forever.”

She thanked the producer, Rajan Shahi for trusting and giving her the role of Kinjal. She also thanked her fans for supporting and cheering for her. “Though it’s difficult to move on, I know this is just the beginning. Here’s to new chapters and more beautiful journeys ahead. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart, “he concluded.
