Actor Ananya Panday is taking a stand against the perception of catfights in Bollywood, advocating for strong female friendships instead. In a recent interview, she highlighted the importance of building a supportive environment for her contemporaries, particularly with colleagues Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.
Reflecting on her five years in the industry, Ananya expressed her disbelief at the narrative that pits women against each other. “They keep pitting women against each other, but with Sara and Janhvi, we actively support each other,” she stated. She aims to showcase how female friendships should look, encouraging others to embrace this positive dynamic.
Ananya recalled her early experiences in the industry, noting that she’s become more vocal about her beliefs. “Seeing change is a huge reason why I keep going,” she shared, emphasizing the impact she hopes to make on young women. Ananya continues to shine with her recently released web series Call Me Bae on OTT, which is set to have a season 2 soon.
