Ana Navarro’s CNN Documentary ‘The Latino Vote’ Sets Premiere Date: “If We Want More Diversity In Media, We Must Show There Is Interest In Our Stories”

Armando Tinoco

Ana Navarro‘s documentary The Latino Vote: Ana Navarro’s American Tour will premiere on Sunday, September 29, at 8 p.m. ET on CNN as part of The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper.

The political commentator has been traveling across the U.S. talking to Latinos ahead of the upcoming presidential election. Navarro shared a preview of her documentary and her excitement over the premiere.

“The Latino Vote really can make or break these elections. It is of crucial importance in several swing states,” Navarro posted on Instagram. “I am most definitely not voting for Trump, but I went into this with an open mind. I wanted to understand what is driving Hispanics to the polls. We traveled around the country and spoke to Latinos voting for Trump, Harris and even undecided. We put names and personal stories behind the statistics. We heard their concerns, priorities and fears.”

She continued, “We danced. We rode horses. We ate conchas. And we drank a lot of Cuban coffee. I learned so much and had so much fun in the process.”

Navarro noted the importance of watching the documentary and hoped people supported the project.

“If we want more diversity in media, we must show there is interest in our diverse stories,” she added. “I’m very grateful to all those who helped make this possible, and am proud of this documentary – my first, hopefully not my last.”

The Latino Vote: Ana Navarro’s American Tour will also be available on demand beginning Monday, September 30 to pay TV subscribers via CNN.com, CNN connected TV and mobile apps, and Cable Operator Platforms. Past episodes of The Whole Story are available to stream on Max.
