Amadeus launches an AI chatbot in its business suite, transforming data access for hoteliers.
In today’s dynamic hospitality industry, the ability for hotel managers to quickly harness business intelligence for informed decision-making is essential.
To address this need, Amadeus has announced the introduction of a groundbreaking chatbot, featuring Gen AI, within its business intelligence platform, Agency360+™. This new tool, dubbed the Amadeus Advisor and powered by the Azure OpenAI Service, is a direct result of the ongoing strategic alliance between Amadeus and Azure, aimed at driving forward innovation and cooperative efforts throughout the travel sector.
The Amadeus Advisor enables hoteliers to tap into detailed travel agency and corporate booking data from Agency360+. Users can input intricate data queries and receive responses in a clear, conversational format, enhancing efficiency and accessibility.
The integration of Gen AI within this tool provides immediate, deep insights that significantly accelerate the data analysis process, facilitating more tactical business choices. Hotel revenue managers, for instance, can effortlessly obtain metrics on average daily rates, room nights, or revenue streams, simplifying what would typically require labor-intensive searches.
Furthermore, this technology empowers even those with minimal technical expertise to easily interact with the chatbot and leverage the insights gained in their sales, marketing, operational, and distribution strategies.
