Airtel Q1 results: Net profit jumps 43% to Rs 5,948 crore as revenue, ARPU see strong growth

Bharti Airtel reported a 43% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 5,947.9 crore for the April–June 2025 quarter, up from Rs 4,160 crore a year earlier, driven by robust growth in India revenue and higher average revenue per user (ARPU).The telecom major’s consolidated revenue from operations rose 28.4% to Rs 49,463 crore during the first quarter, compared to Rs 38,506.4 crore in Q1 FY25, the company said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday, PTI reported.India revenue saw a 29% year-on-year surge to Rs 37,585 crore in Q1. The company’s ARPU—a key metric to assess the financial performance of telecom operators—rose to Rs 250 during the quarter, up from Rs 211 in the year-ago period.
