Ahmedabad plane crash: Air India to arrange relief flights from Delhi, Mumbai; check details, time of departure

Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad: After the tragic crash of Air India flight AI 171 Dreamliner 787-8 in Ahmedabad on Thursday afternoon, the airline said it is organizing relief flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Ahmedabad. “Air India is organizing two relief flights, one each from Delhi and Mumbai, to Ahmedabad for the next of kin of passengers and Air India staff,” the airline said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).A passenger aircraft operated by Air India, destined for London with 242 people aboard, crashed into a residential neighbourhood shortly after departing from Ahmedabad airport on Thursday afternoon. The incident is believed to have resulted in numerous fatalities.

Additionally, those coming in from international destinations and wanting to travel can call our hotline on +91 8062779200,” Air India said in its social media post.Air India confirmed the passenger manifest included 169 Indians, 53 British nationals, seven Portuguese citizens and one Canadian.
