Ahead of Bombay HC hearing, Sushant Singh Rajput's father says his son would not have committed suicide: 'I have full faith in the court'

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment in June 2020. While many called it suicide, the investigation on his death is still ongoing as many feel that it was a planned murder. Sushant’s family – especially his sister has constantly expressed that he cannot commit suicide, as this has been made to look. On February 19, the Bombay High Court is set to hear a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) which aims to further investigate the death of the actor and his former manager Disha Salian.
Ahead of the hearing, Sushant’s father KK Singh spoke about his son and said that his son cannot commit suicide. He told ANI, “Jo log local aadmi ai Patna main rehte hai, unn log local hai unn log ko maalum hoga, eeh baat hum kar skte hai ki Sushant singh suicide nhi kia hoga, Baaki jo kuch bhi kia hai voh vaha k local log ko pta hai jo aayega saamne aajayega court se” (People from Patna, the local people, will know the truth. We can say that Sushant Singh did not commit suicide. Whatever happened, the local people there will know, and it will all come forward in court).”
This PIL calls for the arrest and interrogation of Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aditya Thackeray, thus, linking him to the two deaths which remain a mystery so far. Sushant’s father further added that justice will come for Sushant under the new Maharashtra Government.
He further added, “Poora umeed hai, Court par poora umeed hai aur aayega hee” (I have full hope, full hope in the court, and it will come).”
Sushant was last seen in ‘Dil Bechara’ which had released after the actor’s demise.
