Earlier, Yograj Singh, former cricketer and father of Yuvraj Singh, said in an interview that Arjun should shift his focus towards batting rather than bowling.
He added that if Arjun trained under Yuvraj for three months, he could transform into a player with the explosive batting power of Chris Gayle.
Arjun, 25, has already shown glimpses of his promise.
In the 2022-23 domestic season, he scored a century on his Ranji Trophy debut for Goa, matching his father Sachin Tendulkar’s iconic feat.

Yograj mentioned that after training with him for just 12 days, Arjun made a strong statement by scoring a hundred, emphasising the youngster’s batting potential.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians are gearing up for a crucial IPL 2025 match against Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday. Both teams are locked at 10 points each from nine matches and are looking to secure their playoff chances.
With Mumbai riding high on four straight wins and players like Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav returning to form, Arjun could soon find himself stepping up at a vital phase of the season.
