Adah Sharma says her dream is to not get married: 'I've had so much on screen that I've lost all the joy in real life'

Adah Sharma has always been private about her personal life, keeping her relationship status under wraps. The actress is so low-key that very few know who she is dating. However, in a recent interaction, Adah finally opened up about her views on marriage.
When asked about her dream wedding outfit in an interview with Instant Bollywood, Adah gave a rather unexpected response. She said, “My dream is to not get married. It would be a nightmare if I want to get married.” She further elaborated, “I’m not scared of any relationships. I don’t know, but being at a wedding… I’ve had enough so much on screen that I’ve lost all the joy in real life. Actually, if I want to marry someone, I’ve lost all the joy. Mann uth gaya hai. But maybe I’d do it in comfortable clothes if I actually had to. Or maybe I do. If it’s uncomfortable clothes and I had to marry somebody, I’d get someone who’s sporting enough to do some theme type of thing. Like an extremely over-the-top, caricature-ish theme wedding. So that everyone can enjoy. Anyway, I don’t know what’s going to happen after this.”

Did you know Adah Sharma got ‘The Kerala Story’ role after THIS audition?

On the work front, Adah will soon be seen in her upcoming film Tumko Meri Kasam. The movie delves into the sensitive and often taboo topics of IVF and fertility, with Adah starring alongside veteran actor Anupam Kher. The film aims to shed light on the challenges and societal stigmas surrounding reproductive health, offering a thought-provoking narrative.
The two-minute and 51-second trailer opens with Anupam Kher’s character taking center stage as he battles murder charges while struggling to prove his innocence. As the drama unfolds, Adah Sharma’s character stands by her husband’s (played by Iswak) dream of launching an IVF clinic while simultaneously navigating societal judgment. The film also features Esha Deol in a pivotal role and is directed by Vikram Bhatt.

Loosely inspired by the life of Dr. Ajay Murdia, the founder of the well-known Indira IVF chain, Tumko Meri Kasam explores the complexities of fertility struggles and the stigma attached to them, making it a significant addition to Bollywood’s evolving narratives.
