Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker set the stage on fire at his son Konark Gowariker’s wedding sangeet as he performed on Mitwa from his Oscar-nominated film Lagaan. The event, held on March 1, was part of the grand wedding celebrations of Konark and Niyati Kanakia, daughter of businessman Rasesh Babubhai Kanakia of Kanakia Builders.
A video from the sangeet has surfaced online, showing the Jodhaa Akbar director delivering an energetic performance on the iconic song. The guests cheered as Ashutosh showcased his dance moves, while his son, overwhelmed by emotion, joined him on stage and hugged him. The heartwarming moment was met with applause from the audience.
