Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava continues its stellar box office run, not just in India but also overseas. In just two weeks, the film has grossed an impressive $5,221,000 (Rs 43.45 crore) in North America, solidifying its position as one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of the year in the region. Of this, the USA alone has contributed $3,327,000 (₹27.69 crore), with the rest coming from the Canada market.

North America has long been a crucial market for Bollywood, with big-ticket films often relying on the diaspora’s strong turnout. The success of Chhaava in this territory further reinforces the demand for well-made period dramas, particularly those with a mix of action and historical significance. With strong word-of-mouth and positive reviews, Chhaava has managed to carve its place among the biggest Bollywood releases in the overseas circuit.Over the past few years Hindi Cinema has been losing ground to Telugu Cinema in the circuit but Chhaava might just be that changing point in the tale.
In India as well Chhaava has continued its strong hold at the box office. At the end of 15 days the film has already earned Rs 412.50 crore and has become the 12th biggest hit of Indian Cinema beating the likes of Rajinikant’s 2.0 and Prabhas’s Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire.

As Chhaava continues its theatrical run, it is expected to add more to its international tally, further cementing Vicky Kaushal’s position as a bankable star in overseas markets.
Chhaava is directed by Laxman Utekar and also features important performances by Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai and Viineet Kumat Singh as Kavi Kalash. Post Chhaava, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War which will feature him with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt after Sanju and Raazi respectively. The film is reportedly a modern adaptation of Raj Kapoor’s Sangam with a war background.
