After a gap of 20 years Sunny Deol made a comeback in 2023 with Gadar 2, the film went to become one of the biggest hits of the year and biggest hit of Sunny’s career. He is now slated to be back on the big screen with Jaat on 10th April and its teaser has already increased the buzz of the film. While Sunny is known for his good looks, his emotional depth and his action but dance is something that he just about manages.

One of the biggest dance numbers of his career has been the song ‘ Yaara o Yaara’ from the film Jeet wherein he was seen dancing with Karisma Kapoor in Switzerland. Recalling an anecdote about shooting the song, Karisma who had appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show stated that upon arriving, they were briefed about the dance steps scheduled for the next day’s shoot. To her surprise, at 5 AM the following morning, she heard the song playing. Curious, she stepped onto her balcony and noticed Sunny Deol diligently rehearsing the dance moves. Touched by his dedication, Karisma approached him and remarked that as a newcomer, she should be the one practicing. However, Sunny Deol humbly responded that he has to dance with her so he must rehearse. Karisma also added that Sunny Deol looked very cute in the song.
Further insights into the filming of ‘Yaara O Yaara’ reveal that Sunny Deol was apprehensive about dancing in front of the entire crew. Aware of his limitations as a dancer, he felt uneasy performing the steps publicly. To accommodate his comfort, the set was cleared, leaving only essential personnel during the shoot. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala mentioned that Sunny would often inquire after each take if he had executed the steps correctly, underscoring his dedication to delivering a commendable performance.
