‘Chhaava’ box office collection day 14: Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna starrer misses 400 crore mark by the end of second week

Usually on February 14 filmmakers try to hit the big screen with a tale of love, but director Laxman Utekar thought of bringing something different. He presented the tale of courage, determination, the tale of an unsung Maratha warrior, the story of Chattarpati Sambhaji Maharaj – ‘Chhaava.’
Headlined by Vicky Kuashal, the movies opened with a business of ₹ 31 crore, giving the actor and 2025 the biggest opening so far. Since then, the film refused to slow down. It had bumps in the road, the weekdays have not always been kind, but the film has been able to break many records. Looking at the track record, it appeared that by the end of week 2 the movie will be able to cross the ₹400 crore mark. On the contrary, on day 14, i.e. its second Thursday, the movie fell short. It made only ₹12 crore, which is almost a 50 percent drop, and collected ₹398.25 crore net in India, according to the Sacnilk report.
This is an early estimate, an updated number is expected later in the day.
The occupancy rate fell from 34.43 percent on Wednesday to 18.58 percent on Thursday. The morning shows recorded 10.56 percent occupancy, while the afternoon show percentage was 16.96. The occupancy rate rose in the evening and night shows, standing at 19.79 percent and 26.99 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, considering the popularity of the movie, the makers have decided to release the movie in Telugu as well. This news was made public with a new poster of Vicky Kaushal as Chattrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and the caption – “The epic tale of India’s courageous son, #Chhaava is now all set to roar in Telugu by popular demand.
