Filmmaker SS Rajamouli, currently working on his much-awaited film SSMB29 with Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra, is facing controversy. Uppalapati Srinivasa Rao, who claims to be his longtime friend, has made serious allegations, accusing the director of causing him emotional distress.
As per Gulte, Uppalapati Srinivasa Rao has written to the Mettuguda police, claiming he has known SS Rajamouli since 1990. He alleges that the filmmaker has caused him immense suffering, ruined his life, and continues to trouble him.
Srinivasa Rao claims that a love triangle was the reason behind his fallout with SS Rajamouli. While these allegations have sparked controversy, the filmmaker has not yet responded.
Srinivasa Rao claimed in his letter to the police that SS Rajamouli is the reason he remains single at 55. He accused the filmmaker of tormenting him over a woman but admitted he had no proof of their past interactions. He further alleged that he sees no other option but to end his life, holding SS Rajamouli responsible for his suffering.
However, Rajamouli and his team have not yet responded to the allegations.
