Tanmay Bhat takes a dig at Ranveer Allahbadia's controversial remark on India’s Got Latent: 'I texted him, he isn’t responding'

Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina made headlines for facing legal troubles after their inappropriate jokes on India’s Got Latent a few weeks ago, and now comedian Tanmay Bhat has broken his silence on the issue through a YouTube reaction video. Tanmay revealed that he had previously invited Ranveer for a collaborative reaction video, but after the setback, he has been unable to contact Ranveer.
The video features a panel of stand-up comedians, including Rohan Joshi, Kaustubh Agarwal, Piyush Sharma, Kushagra Srivastava, and Ravi Gupta. Rohan, Kaustubh, and Ravi had earlier appeared on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent.

Ranveer Allahbadia Mysteriously Disappears Amid ‘IGL’ Controversy – Phone Dead, Police Investigation Stalled

Tanmay starts the video by reading out a comment from a viewer, “Would you rather keep doing reaction episodes or bring Ranveer once and end it?” The comment sparked laughter among the comedians as it mirrored the controversial “Would you rather” question that had landed Ranveer in trouble. It was similar to Ranveer’s statement about parents and sex, which triggered widespread backlash on social media.
Tanmay shared that he had texted Ranveer just a few weeks before the issue. “Just two weeks before this whole thing happened, I texted Ranveer and asked him to do a reaction video on fitness memes,” he quipped. “He isn’t responding—I wonder what happened.”
As the video progresses, the panel bursts into laughter while reacting to a meme that hilariously blends Ranveer’s energetic “Ho” from India’s Got Latent with the sound of a police siren. Tanmay light-heartedly asks if anyone on the panel plays video games, to which Ravi Gupta responds with a touch of humour, “Samay used to. He played chess a lot.”
Multiple FIRs were filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and other panel members from the show after their inappropriate comments. Ranveer was spotted giving a statement to Maharashtra Cyber cell a few days ago.
