Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Lohan gets arrested for alleged assault on estranged wife Kate Major - Report

American actress-singer Lindsay Lohan is facing a troublesome period, as reportedly her father Michael Lohan has been arrested, allegedly for physically assaulting his estranged wife, Kate Major. Reports claim that Michael was charged with “continuous violence against the family.” Following the same he was taken into custody in Texas on Saturday.
According to Page Six, Kate called the cops when she spotted Michael Lohan in the parking lot of the place where she was gone for her medical appointment. She filed a report stating Michael had “flipped her out of a chair” a few days back. She spoke about pain and discomfort in her statement. Further, a female deputy officer confirmed her bruising.
If reports are to be believed, then Michael is being held on a bond of $30,000. Lindsay and Michael’s spokesperson are yet to comment on the matter.
For the unversed, this isn’t the first time that Michael has landed in trouble. In 2020, Michael was arrested on charges of physical abuse and then Four years later, there was an intense altercation between him and Kate. The matter escalated to a point where the cops that to intervene.
Further, a video from their verbal spat went viral. It showed Michael trying to stop Kate’s car from driving away. It was only a matter of time before cops had to come in the middle to sort the mess. Reportedly Kate told the the officers to admit Lohan to a psychiatric unit. Later, Michael alleged that Kate was “drunk”.
Michael Lohan and Kate Major tied the knot in 2014. However, their relationship couldn’t stand the test of time, and they have been staying separately since 2018. Later, they filed a divorce, stating their relationship was “irretrievably broken.”
