Virat Kohli gets a special mention as Bollywood stars celebrate India’s victory over Pakistan - ‘So proud of you’

India and Pakistan had an epic showdown in Dubai on Sunday at the ICC Champions Trophy. Led by the living legend of the cricketing world, Virat Kohli, India won the match by chasing down a target of 242. During the match, Virat made his 51st ODI century and was named Man of the Match for his impressive score of 100 runs off 111 balls, including seven fours.
Now, India’s victory was welcomed with warm wishes, lovely social media messages, and more. Bollywood also came together to celebrate India’s triumph. Stars like Sunny Deol, who enjoyed the match with MS Dhoni live in Dubai, famous lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar, and others took to social media to show their love and support. In their congratulatory messages, the Bollywood stars gave a special mention to Virat Kohli for his impressive performance.
Sharing photos and videos from the match, Sunny Deol wrote, “I was rooting for my team India knew they would win and they WON!!! Congratulations to everyone for this victory and Virat phatte Chak ditte.”

Earlier, Virat Kohli got a special mention from his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma’s Insta story. She posted a picture of Virat winking towards the camera and showing his thumbs-up sign. In the caption, she added two folded-hands emojis and a red heart emoji.
