Stock market today: Nifty50 and BSE Sensex, the Indian equity benchmark indices, opened in red on Friday driven by increased global uncertainties due to Donald Trump’s tariff moves. While Nifty50 went below 25,300, BSE Sensex was down over 250 points. At 9:17 AM, Nifty50 was trading at 25,289.00, down 66 points or 0.26%. While Nifty Smallcap 250 Index and Nifty Midcap 150 Index delivered 0.3% and 4.0 % returns respectively, Nifty 50 delivered 7.9% return. The overvaluation of the broader market is getting corrected.
