FBI director Kash Patel, recently appointed under US President Donald Trump’s administration, has expressed deep gratitude for his long-time publicist, Erica Knight, calling her an “absolute force” in the field of political communications.

Knight has also been vocal in her support for Patel, particularly amid doubts surrounding his nomination. Following his Senate confirmation, she posted on X: “They said he’d never get nominated. They said he’d never get confirmed. They called him every name in the book. Now they can just call him ‘FBI Director Kash Patel. History belongs to the dreamers, not the doubters.”

Patel, an Indian-origin official and staunch Trump loyalist, was confirmed as FBI Director this week with a narrow Senate vote of 51-49.
