Samay Raina shares a cryptic post on his YouTube after the India's Got Latent controversy

Comedian Samay Raina shared his first note on YouTube after weeks of silence following the controversy surrounding an episode of India’s Got Latent. The comedian had been embroiled in legal troubles after a remark made during the latest episode of the comedy show, which sparked outrage. The incident led to multiple FIRs, with the case eventually reaching the Supreme Court.
Samay had taken down all episodes of the show from YouTube following the legal trouble, and on Friday night (February 22), he shared a cryptic note on his YouTube channel. Samay posted a members-only community message featuring just two emojis: a heart and a hug. The post was intended exclusively for his paid subscribers to acknowledge their support and unity.

Samay Raina Speaks Out, DELETES All India’s Got Latent Videos From YouTube: ‘Too Much To Handle’

A fan shared a screenshot of the post, which had already amassed 7,500 likes within a minute. Another user on Reddit noted, “It has 11k likes in 4 minutes on members only. That’s big in my opinion.” However, some fans felt the numbers were modest compared to Samay’s usual reach. One commented, “Ye to bhot kam hai. Agar woh normal post karta toh 1L+ likes ho jate ab tak. (This is too little. Had he posted normally, it would have been 100k).” Many of his well-wishers on social media expressed disappointment that he is unable to share videos with his fans and subscribers.
The controversy surrounding India’s Got Latent stemmed from an inappropriate comment made by Ranveer Allahbadia. Ranveer, Samay, and other panel members on the show faced significant backlash online, with several FIRs filed against them.
