Chhaava: THIS actor from Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama holds a medical degree and is a national-level sportsman!

They say ‘Chhaava’ is the term used for lion’s cub, but the movie is actually roaring like a real king of the jungle, the real lion! With a box office collection of more than Rs.200 crore in the debut weekend, ‘Chhaava’ is being lauded not just for presenting the historical drama in a gripping cinematic package, but for the stellar performances of the actors. Vicky Kaushal without a doubt stole the show with his work. However, there’s another actor who though was in a supporting role, shone beautifully in the movie. We are talking about Viineet Kumar as Kavi Kalash.

Who is Viineet Kumar Singh?

Viineet Kumar Singh has worked in several movies and with every project, he only impressed the audience more and more. From ‘Pitaah’ to ‘Gangs of Wasseypur,’ ‘Saand Ki Aankh,’ she excelled in every role he played. However, that is not the only impressive thing about the actor.
Vineet Kumar Singh is a Medical College topper and CPMT-qualified individual. He holds an MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree in Ayurveda from Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery from R. A. Poddar Ayurveda Medical College.
And if you think that is it, then you are in for a surprise. He is also a national basketball champion.

Viineet Kumar Singh’s tribute to the Maratha warriors

Recently, on the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, Viineet Kumar paid to the mausoleums of the two Maratha soldiers. He shared a glimpse of his visit on social media and while paying a tribute to the martyrs, he wrote, “On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, I am reminded of a deeply spiritual and transformative moment in my journey. Before I began shooting for the role of Kavi Kalash in Chhaava, I visited Tulapur, a place of immense historical and spiritual significance. This sacred land is home to the mausoleums of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj ji and Kavi Kalash ji, and the path to the Temple of Bhagwan Shiv passes through these sites.”
“I also visited the Temple of Bhagwan Shiv and stood in silence at Sambhaji Maharaj’s mausoleum, deeply moved by the history and sacrifice that this land holds. Standing there, I felt a surge of strength, one that helped me stay true to the role of Kavi Kalash with complete honesty. This visit was more than just seeking blessings; it was about grounding myself in the spirit of the character and carrying that emotion throughout the journey of the film,” he concluded.
