Sean Diddy Combs’ Trial: Celebs linked to the music mogul to skip town - Report

Disgraced hip hop artist Sean Diddy Combs’s legal controversy not only involves his name but has a mention of several A-listers. From Jennifer Lopez to Justin Bieber, Jay Z, Usher, Will Smith, and Ashton Kutcher, many bigwigs of the Hollywood world have a regular face of his alleged ‘wild parties’. The irony is that though these celebs and Sean Diddy have been ‘friends,’ ‘colleagues’ and ‘industry acquaintances’ for more than a decade, most of them chose to maintain a distance from Combs’ row. And now as the trial of Diddy is coming close, it appears that the celebrities are going to move even farther away.
Insider claims Hollywood celebrities linked to Diddy will empty Hollywood before his trial. According to the RadarOnline report, celebs who have had any connection with Diddy in the past have no plan of sticking around when the explosive trial commences. Reportedly, this decision came considering the possibility that the music mogul could name-drop Diddy’s acquaintances.
“The homes of the rich and famous with any kind of links to Combs, no matter how innocent, will be empty come May,” the source contended.
“No one will wish to be around when the hearing kicks off and Combs starts throwing names around,” added the source.
With the fear of their names dragged through the mud, many of the celebs might opt to get out of Hollywood. The source mentioned celebs would rather “stick their heads in the sand, quite literally perhaps, on a beach as far away from the courthouse as possible.”
Further, it is worth noting that the claims of the celebs escaping have come after Diddy sued NBC over the documentary. For the unversed, the rapper filed a $100 million lawsuit against the makers of the latest Diddy documentary.
The complaint states the “entire premise of the documentary assumes that Mr Combs has committed numerous heinous crimes, including serial murder, rape of minors, and sex trafficking of minors.”
Since the final verdict on the case is awaited, the documentary has been accused of maliciously and baselessly jumping to the conclusion that Combs is a ‘monster.’
Meanwhile, Diddy has been locked up behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn. His trial is set to go on May 5, 2025.
