The threat email further added that they have Pakistan faithful sleeper cells across India and they would be activated for Operation Sindoor. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday officially suspended the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) for one week, citing national security concerns following India’s military action in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. The decision came a day after an air raid alert halted the Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals match in Dharamsala. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia said the suspension was necessary, stating, “National interest trumps all other considerations.” The Board expressed solidarity with India’s armed forces and reaffirmed its commitment to the nation’s integrity and security.
