Police are investigating, and security at Eden Gardens has been beefed up,” Ganguly said. The bomb threat coincided with a period of heightened national alert following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. In response, India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’.Under the operation, the Indian Armed Forces carried out precision strikes on nine terror targets on Wednesday—four located in Pakistan (Bahawalpur, Muridke, Sarjal, and Mehmoona Joya), and five in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).
