'Indian Attack In 24-36 Hours': Pakistan Information Minister's Midnight Briefing Sparks Panic In Pakistan | Watch

NEW DELHI: Pakistan on late Tuesday claimed that it has “credible intelligence” suggesting an imminent Indian military strike within the next 24 to 36 hours.
Pakistan’s information minister Attatullah Tarar said that Pakistan vehemently rejects “Indian self-assumed hubristic role of judge, jury and executioner in the region,” which was completely “reckless.”
“Pakistan has credible intelligence that India intends carrying out military action against Pakistan in the next 24-36 hours on the pretext of baseless and concocted allegations of involvement in the Pahalgam incident,” Tarar said.

What should be the priority in response to rising tensions?

“Indian self assumed hubristic role of Judge, Jury and Executioner in the region is reckless and vehemently rejected. Pakistan has been the victim of terrorism itself and truly understands the pain of this scourge. We have always condemned it in all its forms and manifestations anywhere in the world,” he added.
Tarar claimed that Pakistan has been the “victim of terrorism” itself and truly understands the pain of this scourge, “We have always condemned it in all its forms and manifestations anywhere in the world,” he added.
“Pakistan reiterates that any such military adventurism by India would be responded to assuredly and decisively. The International community must remain alive to the reality that the onus of escalatory spiral and its ensuing consequences shall squarely lie with India,” Tarar said.
Earlier, Pakistan defence minister Khawaja Asif had claimed that India’s “incursion was imminent” and Islamabad was on high alert.
“We have reinforced our forces because it is something which is imminent now. In such a situation, some strategic decisions had to be taken — and those decisions have been made,” Asif told Reuters.
This comes as India is preparing for decisive action against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, which continues to threaten peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Pahalgam attack, which took place on April 22, left 26 people — mostly tourists, including one Nepalese national — brutally murdered at the Baisaran meadow around 2 pm.
It was one of the deadliest assaults in the region since the 2019 Pulwama attack, which claimed the lives of 40 Central Reserve Police Force personnel.
