The discovery of a balloon with ‘Pakistan International Airlines’ written on it next to a flag of Pakistan has led to panic in the forests of Madhera, Rajasthan. The balloon was found around 750 km from the India-Pakistan border near Bharatpur district. The balloon also carried some text in Urdu.
Upon discovering it, villagers informed the nearest police station, prompting the deployment of a dog squad and a bomb disposal team. After a thorough inspection, authorities confirmed that the balloon contained no explosives or hazardous materials. Subsequently, the balloon was taken to the police station for further examination, but no suspicious elements have been found so far.
District Special Branch in-charge Premchand said the balloon, shaped like a ship, was spotted around 2 pm in the forests of Madhera. He stated that the police response was swift, involving a detailed investigation and the implementation of all necessary security measures. Local residents are being interviewed to gather further information about the incident.
In response to the discovery, the local administration has heightened security in the area and assured residents of a comprehensive inquiry.
