An urgent recall has been issued for several batches of Tower air fryers due to potential fire risk. Consumers who have a model from the affected series have been urged to instantly discontinue its use.
Tower Housewares initiated the voluntary recall on its website highlighting a “low-risk” defect that could lead to overheating and in some cases fire. “We have become aware that a small number of Tower Air Fryers have a manufacturing defect which may result in overheating that under certain circumstances could pose a risk of fire. The fault has been deemed low risk by Trading Standards, however, the safety and well-being of our customers is our top priority, and we have made the decision to voluntarily recall these models as a precautionary measure “, said a spokesperson for the company.
