The attack has sparked a major security response in the region. The Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and central agencies have launched an intensive manhunt to apprehend the perpetrators. Meanwhile, national leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have vowed that those responsible will be brought to justice.
