The wait will soon be over for HBO‘s much-anticipated third installment of its hit dark comedy The White Lotus and It prequel series Welcome to Derry, based on Stephen King’s seminal novel.

First looks for both projects were teased in the network and streamer Max‘s trailer for what’s in store in 2025. In addition to the aforementioned series, audiences can expect new seasons for The Righteous Gemstones, The Last of Us, And Just Like That, The Rehearsal, Hacks, The Gilded Age and Peacemaker. There was also a glimpse into Rachel Sennott‘s as-yet untitled project, about a co-dependent friend group akin to Lena Dunham’s hit Girls, starring, written and executive produced by the Bottoms starlet.

In the preview, viewers are offered a foray into the new locale for The White Lotus Season 3, as Mike White’s awards darling heads to Thailand. The show teases a return both new and familiar — with stars Walton Goggins (also in Gemstones), Carrie Coon, Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey and veteran Natasha Rothwell, who reprises her Emmy-nominated role as Belinda from Season 1.

Meanwhile, Welcome to Derry — which reunites much of the creative team behind the Warner Bros. double-feature — marks the return of Bill Skarsgård‘s hair-raising demonic clown. The actor also executive produces in addition to starring, and the cast is rounded out by Rudy Mancuso, as well as Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar and Stephen Rider, along with Alixandra Fuchs, Kimberly Guerrero, Dorian Grey, Joshua Odjick, Thomas Mitchell, BJ Harrison, Shane Marriott, Chad Rook and Morningstar Angeline, who recur.

Other shows to expect: J.J. Abrams’ 1970-set thriller Duster, modern-day medical drama The Pitt, Tim Robinson’s half-hour comedy The Chair Company, Game of Thrones prequel show A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and Mark Ruffalo-starring limited series Task.
