'Sab theek hai bhai': Jasprit Bumrah, Karun Nair hug it out after heated exchange - Watch
Karun Nair and Jasprit Bumrah (Video grab)

NEW DELHI: A day after a tense on-field exchange between Jasprit Bumrah and Karun Nair grabbed headlines, Delhi Capitals put any concerns to rest by sharing a heartwarming post-match video showing the two cricketers embracing and chatting amicably.
The video, posted on DC’s official social media accounts on Monday, confirms that the moment of friction was just part of the heat of the game and that there are no lingering hard feelings.
WATCH:
The incident occurred during a high-octane IPL 2025 clash on Sunday, when Delhi Capitals hosted Mumbai Indians. While running between the wickets during his explosive knock of 89 off 40 balls, Nair collided with Bumrah, leading to a visibly fired-up reaction from the star pacer. The heated exchange was widely circulated on social media, with fans and commentators debating the intensity of the altercation.
However, cooler heads prevailed. Nair later had a brief conversation with MI captain Hardik Pandya, and post-match, Bumrah and Nair were seen sharing a hug and a laugh, easing any tension between the two.
Mumbai Indians eventually won the match by 12 runs, after posting 205/5, thanks to Tilak Varma’s 59 and solid contributions from Suryakumar Yadav and Ryan Rickelton. Despite Nair’s heroic effort, DC’s chase ended at 193 in 19 overs.
