WATCH: Sports presenter smashes TV in rage over Rishabh Pant's IPL performance

A dramatic scene unfolded during a live broadcast on an Indian sports YouTube channel when a presenter lost his temper over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper Rishabh Pant’s performance in IPL 2025.
In a fit of rage, the presenter damaged studio equipment, throwing objects at a TV screen and nearly toppling a glass table in front of him.

Pant has struggled in the opening matches of IPL 2025. After registering a six-ball duck against his former team, Delhi Capitals, he followed it with a run-a-ball 15 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Although LSG won the SRH match comfortably, thanks to explosive knocks from Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh, Pant’s form remained under scrutiny.
During a heated discussion about Pant’s leadership, a SportsTak presenter erupted, smashing the TV screen and pushing the glass table.
“IPL is going on. He (Rishabh Pant) had his chance, but I’m telling you, he has become predictable. You cannot trust him. What sort of a captain is he? We don’t need a captain like him!” he shouted before hurling objects at the screen.
WATCH:
Pant’s wicketkeeping and captaincy were also criticised after LSG suffered a shocking loss to DC despite controlling most of the match. While LSG bounced back with a dominant win over SRH, Pant’s performances have left fans and analysts frustrated.
