NEW DELHI: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee was spotted jogging and back walking in London, sporting her classic white saree along with slippers and a jacket.
The videos were shared by Kunal Ghosh, who calls himself a “soldier of All India Trinamool Congress”.
“London. Morning. The Chief Minister said, ‘Not a walk, just a warm-up. Video of Hyde Park.’ A little later, going to the High Commission,” he captioned the video.
Another video posted by Ghosh showed the Bengal CM back walking in the park.
She also attended a a high tea reception hosted by Indian high commissioner Vikram Doraiswam.
“It was a privilege to be hosted by Shri Vikram K. Doraiswami at India House, London, for a high tea reception. The gathering brought together a diverse spectrum of voices united in their commitment to strengthening Bengal-Britain ties. As we navigate a changing world, meaningful partnerships driven by trust are more vital than ever. Today’s exchange reaffirmed the immense potential that lies ahead,” she said in a post on X.
Banerjee departed for London on Saturday evening to meet UK industrialists and attract investments for the state.
