'Nayak nahi khalnayak hu main': RJD targets Bihar CM Nitish Kumar with another poster outside Rabri Devi's residence
RJD slams Nitish Kumar with ‘Khalnayak’ poster

NEW DELHI: RJD workers have put up another hard-hitting poster outside former Bihar CM Rabri Devi‘s residence in Patna, depicting current CM Nitish Kumar as a “Khalnayak” (villain).
The poster features Kumar’s image alongside the phrase “Nayak nahi Khalnayak hu main,” a famous line from the 1993 Bollywood film Khal Nayak starring Sanjay Dutt.
Accusing Kumar of disrespecting women, Mahatma Gandhi, and the national anthem, the poster reads: “Haan, maine kiya hai mahilaayon ka apmaan,” “Gandhi ji ka kiya hai apmaan,” and “Ab ho gaya hai raashtra-gaan ka apmaan.”
The attack comes after a recent incident where Nitish Kumar was seen “talking” to Bihar’s chief secretary on stage while the national anthem played. Despite the official’s attempt to stop him, Kumar continued his conversation, nudging the officer repeatedly. He later greeted people with folded hands while others stood at attention for the anthem.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav shared a video of the incident on social media, criticising Kumar. “At least do not insult the national anthem, Hon’ble chief minister. You already insult youth, students, women, and elderly people every day. Sometimes you mock Mahatma Gandhi’s martyrdom, and now the national anthem,” Yadav posted on X.
The political row comes as Bihar gears up for assembly elections in October. The Election Commission has yet to announce the official poll dates.
