Rumours about cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma divorce have been going on for quite some time. The speculations about troubles in their marriage began late in 2024 when Yuzvendra and Dhanashree unfollowed each other on social media. The cricketer also deleted all their pictures together, while Dhanashree still has those on her social media. And now, amid their divorce rumours there’s buzz on social media that the cricketer will pay a whopping INR 60 crore alimony to Dhanashree.
However, neither Yuzvendra nor Dhanashree have commented or released any statement about their divorce or alimony rumours. While Dhanashree had earlier slammed these rumours calling our “faceless trolls” for their “baseless claims”. In January 2025, Yuzvendra had also posted on his Instagram story that some social media posts speculating on certain matters may not be true.
Yuzvendra had also said, “As a son, a brother and a friend, I humbly request everyone not to indulge in these speculations, as they have caused immense pain to me and my family.”
Amid rumours of their separation and divorce in just a four-year marriage, Yuzvendra was also linked to RJ Mahvash a few weeks ago. Their link-up rumours began when RJ Mahvash had posted pictures with Yuzvendra and her friends, as they had celebrated Christmas together in 2024.

It was during the CVID-19 lockdown when cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal came across choreographer Dhanashree Verma’s dance videos on social media and he reached out to her to learn dance. The duo soon fell in love, and Yuzvendra Chahal proposed Dhanashree for marriage. In August 2020, Yuzvendra and Dhanashree got engaged and in December 2024 they got married. However, after just four year into their marriage it looks like there’s trouble in their marriage though the duo have not commented on it yet.
On the work front, Yuzvendra is currently a part of the Punjab Kings for IPL 2025; he was bought for INR 18 crore. Meanwhile, Dhanashree too is occupied with her work.
